There is no life to be found in violence as every act of violence brings us closer to death whether. it’s the mundane violence we do to our bodies by over-eating food and drinks or the extreme violence of child abuse, domestic warfares or state terrorism.

The monster called child abuse has many faces and is percieved differently by people depending on one’s background, culture or religion as some culture and religions see and accept some form of child abuse as normal or proper.

Some people see nothing wrong in early marriage that is associated with the girl child…. Child abuse is an act or failure to act by a parent or caregiver that results in actual or potential harm to a child and can occur in a child’s home, physically, emotionally, mentally and otherwise.



Research have proven that 70% of children who have been abused in the past physically or emotionally, either by words or sexually are bound to grow up feeling worthless or lack self confidence due to past or previous experiences from child abuse.

Increased fear and difficulty in forming relationship as the child often grows up in fear and timidity.


Eating disorders are behavioural disorders that can be triggered by different things and one of them is child abuse.The child in this situation often develops the habit of eating too much or starving in order to feel good depending on the situation and cause of the abuse.


I am deeply aware of the pain caused by any victim of child abuse, especially in the hands of trustworthy caregivers or parents. Victims of child abuse are advised to see a therapist or report to the appropriate authorities for necessary actions.
